Difference between Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh

As per Indian Mythology; Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva are three supreme gods who are also known as Trimurti or Tridev. Let's see how these three supreme gods use their powers to ake the world going on.

Lord Brahma


Lord Brahma is god of creation. All human being, creatures and celestial bodies are created by him. He is most intelligent god and has Saraswati (goddess of purity and knowledge) as his consort. He drives the science and technology in the universe. He ensures kindness and positiveness in the creations of world. Lord Brahma is also called Jeevan Daata. He is overlord of all celestial Gurus and Rishi Munis.

Lord Brahma is worshipped as good of science and technology.

Lord Vishnu


Lord Vishnu is god of preservation. All human being, creatures and celestial bodies are preserved by him when evil energies get empowered. He is most rich god and has Lakshmi (goddess of riches) as his consort. He drives the righteous and success in the creations of universe. Lord Vishnu is also called Ann Data. He is overlord of all celestial nature Gods like IndraDev, Agnidev, Vayudev.

Lord Vishnu is worshipped as god of politics and commerce.

Lord Shiva (Mahesh)


Lord Shiva is god of destructive energies for betterment of universe. He is most powerful god and has Shakti (goddess of power) as his consort. He drives the justice and fitness in the universe. He ensures kindness and positiveness in the creations of world. Lord Shiva is also called Dand Daata. He is overlord of Shanidev, Yamraj, Nagraj, Bhoot, Pishacha.

Lord Shiva (Mahesh) is worshipped as god of arts and sports.
