Beijing Olympic Forest Park is one of the best man made nature park which was built in China for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. It is credited to be one of the largest urban green landscape in Asia and also to be the largest park in Beijing.
Residents in Beijing stroll along the pavement or also use to jog in the mornings among the greenery to breathe in the fresh air. It also has an handful of carnival rides for children. It spans in an area of 6.8 km² for sightseeing, recreation. Architecture design team of Beijing Olympic Forest Park was led by Hu Jie.
The Southern Garden in Beijing Olympic Forest Park spans in an area of around 1.5 square miles (3.8 square kilometers) and is well known for the Yangshan Mountain and Aohai Sea. The Northern Garden is a space dedicated to plants and animals and for recreation activities for people.
