A Senior IPS Officer Shoots Himself in Manipur With His Service Gun

A recent news is coming from Manipur, India where an IPS officer has reportedly shot himself.

As per reports; A senior level Indian Police Service officer Arvind Kumar in Manipur has shot himself with his own service gun on Saturday. He was taken to the local hospital by the police and his situation is said to be critical.

Arvind Kumar is a senior cop who currently holds one of the top rank in State Police that is Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order). He was found in critical condition in his official quarter at 2nd Manipur Rifles Complex in Imphal on Saturday 18 July 2020. He is undergoing treatment and surgeries at a private hospital in the state capital.
