In the recent update in Kanpur Encounter Case which led to death of 8 policemen by the Gangster Vikas Dubey on Wednesday Midnight; Amar Dubey who was a close aide of Vikas Dubey and a shooter of the Vikas Dubey gang has been killed by the UP Police's Special Task Force (STF) in an encounter in Hamirpur district which is about 150 km from Lucknow.
Police got a tip off about the movement of Amar Dubey in Hamirpur District after which a joint team of UP Police and STF went to arrest Amar Dubey. After seeing Policemen; Amar Dubey started open fire on Police with automatic weapons in order to run away from the site. A UP Police Personnel and One UP STF Constable were hit with bullets in the encounter. After fierce gun battle; fnially Amar Was killed by UP Police and STF.
It is predicted that Amar wanted to flee UP by crossing borders with MP. Many automatic weapons and bullets are recovered from Amar Dubey.
