What happened to Virginia Vallejo?

Virginia Vallejo is a Colombian journalist, author, and media personality. She gained prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a television anchor and presenter in Colombia. Vallejo became widely known for her romantic relationship with the notorious Colombian drug lord, Pablo Escobar.

Vallejo wrote a memoir titled "Amando a Pablo, odiando a Escobar" (Loving Pablo, Hating Escobar), which was published in 2007. The book detailed her relationship with Escobar and her firsthand account of the violence and corruption associated with the Medellín Cartel.
